5 spd or auto
SOHC or DOHC engine
how many miles
what(if any) aftermarket parts were on it when you bought it?

Let me know so we can talk.

 welcome to the site. as for your question, care to elaborate any? is there anything in particular that you had in mind? the guys here are some of the most knowledgable that you will find in the 240 community. but it would help if you gave a clue as to specifically what you wanted to know. when you say 'fix it up', are you referring to maintenance, looks, or performance? when asking about information, what are u looking for? motor specs, drivetrain, suspension, braking system, electric, electronic, interior, exterior, curb weight, wheelbase, length, height, wheel size, lug pattern, part numbers for replacement... i'm sure u'll find the answers ur looking for... just make sure u ask the right questions.;) again, welcome!:thumb:

ok, first things first. what shape is the ride in? motor strong? blowing smoke? burning oil? shocks warn? any electrical problems? body damage? rust spots? is the exhaust about to fall off? brakes? tires? timing/timing chain/timing chain guide? clutch? interior? in short, if ur confused about where to start, it never hurts to cure ur baby of any sicknesses...:thumb:

get some suspension then go 4 a sr20 CA18DET or a turo'd KA

opps for got the RB's

wheels are a good choice too

all depends what ur into performance or style

sound advice. i'd also like to add that if performance is where ur going, then along w/the suspension, look into some i/h/e options. especially if ur not gonna do an engine swap anytime soon. u might wanna think about brakes, too. things like quality rotors (solid, slotted, and/or drilled), pads, and steel braided brake lines. also, if ur planning on doing any racing, consider buying some track time or even checking out some clinics at events.

if looks are ur concern, then u can work on that dent (maybe touch up paint the area). perhaps a conversion of some sort (front-end, tail light, rhd)? new paint? shave this and that? body kit? re-upholster(sp?) the interior? new steering wheel? shift knob? short shifter? engine dress up stuff?

that's all i can think of right now. hope that's good enuff to get u started!:thumb:
