welcome to the forum

its your car, you can build any way you want, but that doesnt mean we wont make fun of you if you make look like a ricer.....lol j/k

i know, you should forget all the extra fancy body work and make it a sleeper....

if your going to drift it..why worry about what it looks right now?

have you ever seen a drift car? the bodies are ****ed up..

if your body isn't ****ed up you didn't push hard enough..personly..i would leave the body alone untill you get good. then worry about it..your goin to end up replacing the same things over and over..just think it through

well, assuming he IS going to drift it. technically, all he said is he wanted it to LOOK like a drift car.

but if you plan on drifting in the future, i agree with typeX.

Lately yes, used to come out and hit everybody off with some crazy unique welcome, blah blah blah, but this just seems so much easier...

Two things I would like to add:

sleepers are stupid, super dark tint is just as stupid

Everyone wants a sleeper, or to be a "sleeper". Nowadays no one sleeps on any kind of car because of that mentality.

...Thats why I did whatever the hell I wanted with my 240...lmao.

Yes, I'm a ricer, and welcome to the forums. :]

Question

Well, its true...that's why I stress doing what YOU want to do with YOUR car and not care about what everyone else thinks, because in the end its your car.

For me, I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

99% of the time, people who make "sleeper" cars are like "My cars going to be sleeper dawg, no one will know what hit 'em". That is just not me. Everyone wants to stay away from being "ricey" so they say they're going to build a sleeper, but who the hell cares. I drive a japanese car, by pretty much everyones standards it is "rice". I could care less what people say, and if people think that aero is ricey, I'm the one driving the car, so if I like gaudy as **** aero, its going on, if I want a ****ing GT wing, guess what, its going on.

Also, the whole sleeper thing is played out. Booooooooring...I don't live in snooze-ville, USA. Give me some flash and pizazz...

I am in no way saying do body work and such first, I do not feel that way, I still prefer doing footwork and such first.
