im ryan. i live in midlothian va. right now i am driving a 02 lexus is300, but my dad is selling it and making me buy my own car. so im interested in looking for a 95-98 240sx. i first fell in love with the 240 in the first fast and the furious and hope to start a project of my own

Greddy evo exhaust

i still havent decide what i want to do with the suspension, rims or tires yet

 

welcome bro, just to let you know that the 6 speed tranny isnt exactly better. in fact the 5speed trany is better/stronger. as for suspension get coilvoers.

i was born in alexandria. then moved to midlothian. which is about 20 mins from richmond. ive checked out craigs list and there are many possiblities on there.

as for the tranny...
this may be a dumb question, but could you put a 5sp tranny on an s15 SR20?

pretty sure. but what id do is just get an s14 sr. basically the same as s15 sr, 5 sp tranny, and alittle cheaper.

 

^^^What he said, the only diff, between the 15 and 14 blacktop is mainly the turbo and ****ty 6spd tranny, save the extra 1500 dollars and get the s14, i personally went with the s13 blacktop because i settled for less hp but i have more green in the pocket to dump into the car, plus with the extra money u save you can make the s13/14 blacktop faster than an s15. just my lil basic info on the sr, anyone of the guys/gals that are on here should be able to help out w/whatever questions u have, BUT utilize the SEARCH function before you ask. im sure ull find 99% of the answers to ur questions because im sure there are at least 20 other people who have asked it already

Howdy! I'm also from VA. I'm up in the NOVA area though--funny story...I bought my car from Midlothian from this lady who just bought an M3...she was getting married and the 240 was her commute car...haha. 70k on the clock when I picked her up, single owner. I love it.
