well.. just reasontly i bought a 240sx... maybe a day or too after i found this site and posted... i personly cant stand the hatch backs fastbacks or what ever.. i really love the coupe... especialy the generation 2(89 - 94 is gen 2 right?) coupes, its a 91 model.. so its dohc, kinda banged up on the outside.. but runs like a dream... i heard from i guy i saw at kraigen auto, that theres a place in LA that sells street legal silvia motors.. sr20d or something like that.. and that guy was doing the s13 front end conversion.. so he's like a step or 2 ahead of me.. but its all good, his is a 90 sohc motor :-p... well.. anyways when i bought the car, the exhaust wasnt on it, it broke off and is in the trunk.. but im driving with out it on anyways.. when i reached the high rpm's.. around 5.5 - 7 i heard what sounds like a turbo... i know the car isnt snailed, but its just interesting to find out that it does sound like that.. i just want to get the eastbear front lamps.. a new bumper side skirts and a rear bumper.. and paint it black.. and then maybe drop the sil motor in it.. if theres really a street leagal version..

 

uhm...If i remember correctly there is NO street legal SR. Its all illegal And the 89-94 is Gen 1.

figures... i thought the 240z counted as gen1.. ohh yeah and sorry for my bad writing style, i just had like 3 cups of coffie, half a sig, and followed by cops. all in good fun none the less

 

that would be gen1 Z-car...not sx...two different cars...
