Top Speed of KA24?

What is the top speed of a KA24 before the govonor kicks in? 130-135mph?
Is there any whay to bypass the govonor or get a chip that over rides it?

Thanks for any help. btw, my engine has been bored out 10mm w/ forged pistons & rods along with a port and polish. Also has a CAI, 4-1 ceramic header, full catback exhaust (@ 2.25 pipe).

No dude, its there. You're not searching hard enough if you can't find it.

Here dude, I even found it for you. I typed in "speed governor" in search and the FIRST RESULT was this.

no, it's like 128mph or something like that. i read it somewhere and tried it out one day and sure enough the needle kept going past 115mph. i was worried i would brake something at that speed so i let off the gas. i was probably doing about 120mph.

edit here's the link i found it in under 20 seconds.

Did a quick search and found nothing that helped me bypass the govonor or a chip that that would do the job. Any suggestions?

Fo sho
"All tyres are rated with a speed letter. This indicates the maximum speed that the tyre can sustain for a ten minute endurance without coming to pieces and destroying itself, your car, the car next to you and anyone else within a suitable radius at the time."

I can't remember where on here I read it, but apparently, you can do about 180 MPH in a 240 (yes, really!)
