Used to Mr2's, trying something new.

Well, I'm new here. I live in Virginia beach. I am picking up a 92 hatch from a buddy of mine in about two weeks. I think it will be a fun project. My daily is an 03 Mazda-Speed Protege, and I have had 3 Mr2's over the years. I am happy to be back into something RWD, and i am going to aim this project at being a competent weekend road-racer, while still remaining a fun and quick street car. I look forward to being a part of, and contributing to your forum.

Sup man, nice to know what somebody looks like before you get a completely wrong image in your head lol. What exactly are your plans for the car, like what engine are you going with, etc.?

Welcome. If you need parts let me know. I have a storage shed full of new and used s13/s14 parts, and random parts like Q45 brake upgrades.

You probably have, I hang out in Richmond frequently, a good friend of mine by the name of Ben Petty lives there. Its a fun town, especially in the Fan.

Im not sure about motors yet. I know that I will be running the KA for a while, the first things are going to be a good set of struts, and springs (or possibly coil overs) all around, and then a decent set of wheels, and probably a good set of rotors, pads, and some braided lines for the brakes. Then well see about some bars and bushings. After all that is sorted out I will consider a knew motor. I will have to admit I am very tempted to appropriate another KA, and build on a stand in my garage while all these other things are getting done. If I went that rout it would be a turbo charged setup.

Cliffnotes,

-Coil-Overs

-Wheels

-Minor brake upgrades

-Bars and Bushings

-KA Turbo?
