FS: Audio System: Visonik 12" subs Power Acoustik 1400 watt amp (lots of pics)
 

This is a complete system that I removed from my Civic. It includes
-2 Visonik V12DV6W 12" subwoofers
-Custom enclosure
-Power Acoustic 2400-2 1400 watt amplifier
-Fuse block
-All associated wiring

I built the box for the speakers myself. It is the ideal volume for a closed box as per Visonik's specifications. The box is made of 3/4 inch MDF. The panels are glued and screwed together, with caulking sealing all the corners so it is completely air tight. I used gold plated home audio connectors in the back of the box. I used spray adhesive to stick black felt over the surface of the box. Total price in materials for the box was $90. The system also includes all associated wiring, power, grounds, signal, RCA's, and gold fuse block. I used only monster cable, at 99.9999% copper, it is the best I could find. All wiring cost me about $50.

I had this system in my Civic hatchback and I never turned the gain up past half. It was way too much system for my car. It was nearly impossible to drive with the system turned up. It was disorienting and your face would hurt from the sound resonating in your sinuses. I downgraded to a small 220 watt amplifier with a single 10 inch sub.
