hey all, I may be purchasing a 240 soon that needs a motor and a tranny. I am hoping to get it and want to get it but I want to make sure that it wont just sit for a year cause I cant find an engine, so Im really just trying to see whats out there. If it doesnt seem like there are any KADEs out there that I can buy and put in for a reasonable price then Im gonna let it go.

So my question is: is there anybody out there in the Philly area, or surrounding areas, who has a KA24DE engine and manual tranny lying around that they wouldnt mind getting rid of????

I know that this post seems stupid and I appologize, but Im just trying to see what Im gonna be doing. like I said, if I can grab an engine and tranny and throw it in and have fun for a while then Ill buy the car, if not then Im gonna have to let the car go to somebody else.

My friend has one, although he wouldn't want to give it away he might be willing to sell it. Only reason is because he has two. So send me a pm if your willing to pay for it and want to know what he would ask for it.
