1989 s13 oem headlight replacement
 

Hi all, new to forum. Recently inherited 89 s13, manual tranny. The healight went out and I am struggling with the replacement. Another forum mentioned removing 4 screws in retaining ring. But I can't access the screws. Do i have to take apart the entire unit (side screws, etc) to replace lamp.

Pop up the lights. There should be a black cover thing with 2 screws on each side. Take off the screws and the black piece should slide off. After it is off you can see the mount holding the light in place. I believe there are two screws, one on top and one on the bottom. Take em out and the mount piece comes out and the headlight should now be free. Pull the headlight out a little, unplug it from the back and your set
