89 gauge cluster
 

Here goes my story,
After a year of owning my 240 trying to maintain the car for the next owner my mph gauge one day started to dance to my music everytime i stopped at a light. when i left go n start driving again it goes back to zero and up back to normal speed of however fast that i am going,

this problem started happening after i had my alternator and battery replaced
so i had the guys at the shop take it out to check on the gauge
they were ordering me a new part which took longer than i exspected so i told them to put my gauge back in im taking it home.
on my way out of the shop none of my gauges work the time the rpm the mph the heat nor gas meter was going
so ive been checking ebay for the jdm clusters for s13 they are in kilometers would there be a problem replace this or will my computer and wiring jus say no waste money n time?

the reason that it dosen't work at all is because the guys at the shop probably forgot to hook the cluster back up when you wanted it put back in . -just get it fixed. thats all.

have you checked fuses? and who knows mabey they didnt plug it back in, just pull that bezel out and the cluster and check.

theres definately power going through it the whole gauge flashes when i open doors

well i just found a stock one i guess that will do.

mine does that too. how much would a stock one cost? was it new or used?

their like 65 bucks my main problem was some power block for the harness needed to be replaced which gives signal to the gauges i guess find them used
