dropzone springs for the 240sx

my friend said that dropzone is good for his mirage.... but what about my 240sx? i was wondering if it will be the same? it's a 1.8 drop... probably will sag to 1.9 or even 2! which im looking for now till i can get the hks hiper coilover... let me know ur opinions

don't buy one set of springs until you can get coilover, thats a waste of money. If you buy springs you'll need to get shocks as well or your suspension will be dead in months and your ride will go to hell. I personally haven't messed with dropzone springs, I just with what I know works best, eibachs.

If you're going to do it coilovers, stay stock until then, unless you got money burning in your pocket.

I have dropzones for my camaro,,, they are decent springs, I dunno about the 240 ones tho,,, but I guess if you just wanna sit a little lower for 70 bucks for awhile, then Id guess that they would suit you OK,

I have them on my S14... they're maybe 1/4 as good as Eibachs as far as ride quality... they're bouncy and ****ty. they're a complete waste of money. don't buy them.

if your still wondering.. i have some sprints that drop 1.8" its good.. still could be able to go over some bumps.. if you have a front lip.. be a little more careful.. :D

I also got the sprints on my crx though I liked them and would recomend those but I have been lookin into the ground control coilovers although I have considered dropzone.

i had h&r springs for my teg, ebay coilover for my civic hatch, nothing on my 240 yet but u'll feel the different between those, to me it up to the person on how they like their suspension..

ProricanRacer Feb 2, 2004 02:07 PM

okay okay...so It wouldn't be a good idea to buy just the Eibach springs? Should I wait until I have enough money for the coilovers?

ridesnowx4 Feb 2, 2004 04:48 PM

well it all depends... i have tanabe springs on mine and they hadle ok but like allways after a while your stock shocks go to sh*t... so im gonna get some tokicos... until i can afford some nice tein dampers or apexi n1 dampers...(i wish)

coil-overs are nice, but they are not worth the money.

I heard ground control coil overs arnt that much stiffer than stock springs.
