need some RB20 parts... BAD!!!
hello, I am a noob, so if I have missed the realevant thread, I am sorry. I am in desperate need of stock RB20 parts. I need a coolant temp sensor (which I have tried to match up to no avail), and a MAF. Any help being pointed in the right direction would be greatly apreciated. Thank you, Adam

thank you for your reply. Honestly, I have been looking for this sensor for about 3 months. I have looked on several sites, as well as ebay and craig's list. It may be that I have not found the correct thread or post in other sites. The Nissan dealer will not put me in touch with the Japan counter part either. I have taken the broken sensor with me to numerous places, and none have been able to match it, including the dealer. It is the 2 wire, yellow sensor in case anyone reading this has an extra :). I have found replacement parts for the 25 and 26, but not the rb20. Thank you again, any assistance would be greatly apreciated.

sure thing man ill keep looking for what i think is good info.. there is alot out there but most of it is inaccurate and or duplicates
|
thanx for the list!! It will come in handy in the future I think. I am in agreeance with you on the inaccurate description of part numbers. I usually double check them before purchasing anything. I am still looking for the coolant temp sensor however... I can not do a test start of the car with out it... :(

wellll from working with Rb20s the temp sensor looks just like the KA's ill check it out
if it comes down to it you will have to gather a list of parts numbers for temp sensors which you can get from many online sites that sell them such as autozone etc.... take them to nissan and ASK for the part and information, dont tell them that you are trying to match parts numbers... have them write it down for you... if you decide to buy the sensor from them, you will pay 1million dollars for it. |
the one from my KA does not fit, and has a different size cylinder internally. It also (I was told) has a different resistance level, however, i am not adept enough to actually test that for myself. The Nissan dealership was not even able to look up part numbers for a Skyline at all. I asked them to get me in touch with their Japan counter-part, but they said that was against company policy. None of the parts store web sites that I have looked at are able to locate parts for a Skyline either. Going into the stores.... ya, most of them don't even know what a Skyline is... LOL Does anyone know of a Japan based auto parts store? I am sure that they would have them, but I can not seem to find any.
