S13 KA/SR radiator hoses

So, after searching for over two hours (stupid dial-up), I've given up and decided to post...

Are the radiator hoses for the KA and SR the same? I'm getting new hoses, and I figure I might as well upgrade to something better than OEM. I haven't found any aftermarket hoses for the KA. Just the SR.
So... Anyone know if they're the same or not?

Nope

Damn. Stock it is then.
Thanks.

...Why the hell did I post this in the parts review section? I really need to quit posting when I'm half-asleep. lol

no they are different because the SR radiator waterneck pipe is on the right side as opposed to it being on the left side like on the KA.

If you use the SR's, then I think you need use a "cross-over" extension pipe to get it to the opposite side.

I know OBX makes silicone hoses for the KA, dunno if I'd trust OBX though. I know if you get a CA18 you can use KA hoses, so I dunno you may be able to get CA18 Samco hoses and use them on the KA, don't quote me on that though

Just buy bulk silicone hoses uncut ready for measuring and measure and buy the right sizes...now you dont need a company to make what you can yourself. And while your at it replace vaccuum hoses too..Shyt Im doing all silicone on my Camaro....awaiting my purchase of a 240 very soon which will also get complete silicone....or EVEN BETTER....Steel Braided which also can be purchased and cut to size..nice look too.

I always go with Summit Racings line of products as they are cheaper and always the same or better. Plus if anything happens you get free shyt. GO SUMMIT RACING!

Enjoy and let us know how it goes if you go the steel braided way (expensive) but well worth it...for performance and looks.
