shorter short shifter

so i bought a B&M short shifter and love it, but its not quite short enuf lol. does anyone know if its alright to just cut an inch of it off or so?

you're kidding right? the B&M is tight as hell. it's freakin short. maybe you need a sequential

why do you need it shorter than what it is? do you really want your shifter to only be about one inch high?
