i was wondering if u can use sr parts in a ka ?

 

Injectors... Thermostat... FPR... Thats all I can think of.

 

because my friend blew his sr . so hes putting in a ka with sr parts like the coil packs , turbo , injectors and connecting it to the sr wire harness and ecu . so will that work?

 

??? I have no idea. Will be interesting to find out. Does the CAS fit into the KA?

You kinda need it so you have signal going to the coil packs.

 

I dont believe you can run the coil packs on the KA. KA is dist. / spark plug combo... a lot of work needed to run it. Like 240smoke said "Injectors... Thermostat... FPR..." thats about all you can salvage from the SR to the KA. And I dont think you can run the SR harness on the KA.

 

Yea you cant just plug in some coil packs and start the car. tuning systems like Tec3 require you to install a CAS signal pick up in order to operate the packs. I have no idea how you would get a stock coil pack system to work on the KA.

 

ka24de's have their intake and ignition systems to mirror the sr20de na motor..
but sr cas and dizzy havve a shorter casing where the ka is longer with a different gera it wont wrk...
i mean tho a na sr20de harness s13 or s14 will run a ka with the ka dizzy...
the two na motors only differ by 7 wires on the harness...
