tsudo or obx header

i have a 89 240sx with the ka24e. i am gonna run the engine until it blows. i had to do a tranny swap and decided to just change the exhuast and header while iam at it. i looked on ebay for some parts and i found an obx header for 165, and a tsudo header for 145. which would be a better bang for the buck?

DCSports or Hotshot are highly recommended. I've heardof fitting issues with OBX. Not to mention some of the welds cracking.

are you sure? i am really considering obx. where are you getting your souces? no one hear of tsudo or ebay header called dc style? i dont want to spend too much on an engine that i dont plan on keep very long.

What're you gonna do once it blows? Because what's the point on improving on somethign you;re just gonna throw away. Svae you moiney or do suspension work is my advice to you.

umm "yea i wanna buy a good header for my engine, but im gonna blow the **** out of it so it wont be any use later" thats what im seeing right now, why would u want a header if ur gonna ***** slap your motor to motor hell?

elite44 02-03-2005 05:49 PM

cause i broke my older one while i was taking it out doing the tranny swap. and my car is old but my engine is pretty new still like 150k. the rusted parts break easily... bleh...

any ebya brand that wont leak and fits well will do.

ArticDragon 02-03-2005 05:55 PM

Buy that;s the thiing, they nmay leak with time and fit like crap. Just junkyard an exhaust mani. It;l save you money and headaches.

C-Walk 02-03-2005 06:16 PM

yes i def. agree with artic here... junkyard it cause if you're not going to buy quality you might as well go with OEM... its a safe bet

If I'm not mistaken, and I know practically nothing about welding, but I think it is either impossible or very deterimental to weld over a weld.

elite44 02-03-2005 07:58 PM

forget it- im just gonna try and fix my broken stock one. hehe

That's more money right there man. Serioisly, not trying to tell you what to do, but what I think is in your best interest and will save you the most is to just junkyard a used header. It'll be cheap. You won't have to bother with fixing something borken that might just break again.

i appreciate all of you guys comments. really... nah im not taking what you say negatively. i posted to ask in the first place. i think im going to visit the junkyard.
