its currently a project right now, im getting the other seat, wheels are a possible a replacement, those are the street wheels, the drifting wheels are 5zigen fn01r's. the car used to belong to one of the members of drift unit, it was just purchased last november 2005.
This is what it looks like now Attachment 25374 Attachment 25375 Attachment 25376 Attachment 25377 Attachment 25378 this is what it used to look like before the car was purchased Attachment 25379 the car sports the normal ka24 engine, a greddy airnix intake, a magnaflow custom prototype exhaust 1 of 3 made(mine, neil tjin's/turtle wax's 240sx, and pacific rim's 240sx driven in formula d(black/gold s13)). it also has a TD0620G turbocharger, ACT street clutch kit, Cusco 2way LSD. the interior mods include an autopower 4pt roll bar, a black sparco torino driver seat with custom bracket for lower seat height. black sparco fighter ll seat for passenger on its way. there's a vertex dish steering wheel, a black vertex shift knob, carbon fiber ebrake handle with a silver cusco drift knob. Defi BF Linkll, boost, oil temp, water temp gauges, and project mu pedals. the exterior has a vertex bodykit, custom blue kouki headlights, the turn signals are OEM JDM kouki signals. it has work vs-kf wheels. 17" front with 3in. lip. 18" back with 5in. lip. JDM kouki grile. when the car was purchased, i also bought a chargespeed carbon fiber hood for the car, the other hood will be for sale soon. pioneer premier headunit, MBQuart 6.5 speakers(front/rear deck), subwoofers: JL 10"W0, Custom subwoofer enclosures, Alpine Vpower 5ch(front amplifier)-i'm not really too interested in doing anything for a hugs sound system, as far as i'm consirned, it just adds weight and it e sound better or cooler, but performance is my main objective to keep. Brembo X drilled/Slotted Rotors, Aluminum Z32TT Calipers, Project Mu BeForce pads f/r RSPS SS Brake Lines HKS hipermaxll coilovers, Cusco front/rear sway bars, rear strut bar future mods: i would love to get an sr20 swap. the cover would be gold with the carbon fiber. the passenger seat is on its way. and im debated whether or not to keep the work wheels. not a huge fan for polish or chrome another future mod is a stoptech big brake upgrade with gold calipers. i was wondering if anybody else thinks i should sell the wheels and if an sr20 would be best. as of right now, the car puts out 245hp. if i were to get the swap my goal would be 300+ maybe around 350hp. i'm still thinking on some things |
Clean as hell , love the wheels thats on it
looks good, love the wheels.
thats awesome.
you want to trade that ka-t motor for a sr20? you must be crazy. you would be very dissapointed
im not sure whether or not i do, if it happens, it wouldnt be for another year or two. i was just considering it. after you spend time in a modified car for a long time, 245hp may start to get boring, plus i dont want to have an engine over 100k miles on it. but thats a while away. the car only has 76k miles on it. its a thought right now. that wont be until everything that is needed is installed
get another block and head and build it!
that turbo should support 400+hp |
ride looks so good. always loved the vertex kit. nice purchase!
looks hott!love the wheels!
Nice.
Ride looks really good. Love the vertex kit. keep us updated.
car looks good, even though i frown on boughten cars that are already modifed..but atleast ur makin an effort to change it..
wheels are balla as hell...keep em unless u sell them to me for a badass price lol dude keep the ka, its already got all the hard work done.. take the $5-$6000 ud spend to put a 300hp sr20 in and buy a cheap used ka and start building that ****...once its done or urs blows then swap all the turbo crap on and put the beyotch in.. |
sooooooo sexyyy:thumb:
thanks for all the comments and replys....i have been wondering as to whether or not to get new wheels, but apparently, by the looks of it, it seems as though they are able to attract some attention. i also did research on the engine, and it is indeed able to produce 450ph+
i think im gonna stick with the ka24 and the work wheels. thanks for everybody opinions and support so far in the thread |
Good idea on staying with the KA.
How much did you pay for that if you dont mind me asking ? |
