92 coupe interior

I recently installed new carpet for the 92 coupe. I was going to try some refitting of a newer model year carpet, by softening with a heat gun, but attempts on my old carpet didn't do much good... the carpet takes a pretty stiff set.
So, I ordered a new carpet on the web, that was made by ACC. I emailed them and they told me the Hicas 4 wheel steer for 92 was only one available... no other molds.... and that it didn't fit a non Hicas car!
So, I ordered it anyway... how different could it be..
Well, it fits perfectly..I can't tell from photos where it might be different from non hicas but it fits well... it is allready trimmed and installed..one note
you do need to save the plastic edge trim strips from the original old carpet.
After you fit and trim for new carpet, you staple these to the edge at the door sill and it will slip over the flange at the sill. These keep the carpet from creeping away from the sill and exposing the raw edge. Also since I am going to get rid of the automatic seatbelts I fabricated a small sheet metal cover to go over the old seatbelt bumps in the rear seat area. I padded these with carpet pad and the new carpet fits perfect. The new carpet didn't have any holes cut in it so the bump out areas are completely covered.

I got mine from ACC too, but it didn't fit so great. Maybe it was my install, because I was struggling with it. I def. want to see how yours turned out though! Pics!!

Sorry I've been gone for a while
The 350Z dash was just a little wider than the 240
I mocked it up, and all of the components looked like they would fit
just shortened the metal cross tube from the Z, and trimmed a little
plastic on both ends, then made a filler strip to fit the gap at the windshield
where the curve of the glass was different. Covered that with black vinyl that
matches the Z. All of the Z components " hang " from that crosstube. I kept all
of the dash controls, steering column, a/c etc . The entire Z wiring harness was
swapped in, and then all of the dash was plug n play.
I just have two small panels to fabricate at the sides of the dash. They will be made to
match the door skin profile, and will have side vents added to blow on window for
defrost
