i just fixed this in my car, the front bulb wasnt blinking, so i pulled it out, but the bulb was good, it just had a bunch of corrosion on the socket, so i took some steel wool and electrical contact cleaner to it and problem solved, i even got to use the same bulb

I have heard that the lights start blinking rapidly when the bulb is going to die. Definitly check out your bulbs, fuses, contacts, relays, everything. The bulbs and fuses would be the first things to go. And if you end up finding corrosion, try looking on the other side for corrosion as well. Better to stop or prevent corrosion before it spreads or gets and worse.

signals work on a relay/resitance cycle. If the power goes to bulb and the bulb is out, it will double the signal going to the light that is still functioning and taking the power.

Also, check to see if any of the other brake lights are out or anything.

If you were a Honda, you might turn faster towards the right.
