Bra
1 Attachment(s)
I was looking into buying a bra to hide some of the bad marks on the front end of my S13. But everyone keeps asking if my car has a spoiler or not. what is the difference with a spoiler or no spoiler on the front of the S13. this is my front end. what does it look like to you.
yeah you got one
I am not really into getting bras for the front on the car. THere is actually a product made by 3M in the import tuner that is clear and goes over the factory bumpers and some skirt kits and protects it the same way that a bra does and probably looks better by keeping factory lines.
thanks for the info. and i personally don't like bras, but someone hit the front end of my car the other day, and i just need something to cover up the damage until i get my body kit in.
well in that instance then it would be cool, but how much around do they cost?
bras on the 240 dont look that good.. sometimes it does... i saw a red one with a black bra... that was sweet, black rims, 5%tint... was a nice look..... depends on what color the car is....
I was thinking about getting a bra, I hated seeing the front of my car getting all the little nicks on it from pebbles and stuff. But I'm not a big fan of bras either. It only looks good on some cars. I guess I'll just have to cringe every time i get stuck behind a truck spraying debris all over.
You guys think the protection is worth the look? |
i'll pass that rock spewing on the right if i had too. had to battle one on the I90 the other day.
damn trucks:mad: |
I think the 3M thing is worth a look. I will have to get the proper name when I get home, but they say you can't even really see the seam of where its attached which is great.
Bra's can also cause damage. If you read their instructions they are not to be left on in the rain. They do not dry right. They trap stuff inbetween the bra and the automobile's body. You can end up with wear marks on your car.
I would go with the contact plastic made by 3M. |
Yeah that seems to be the way it is. Looks good in my opinion over a bra.
just a little note on the 3m stuff...it is hard as a beeyatch getting it on, it takes like 3 people for it. i have a friend who has one and it takes FOREVER! but maybe its different on different cars...
Was the 3M he installed cut for his car? I have found sites that have pre cut pieces for installation.
Yeah the 3M is cut for cars. They even have some that are cut for skirt kits, but that probably means Hondas.
