Carbon fiber doesnt dent. It just shatters. So chances are if you have a dent in carbon fiber, it's not really carbon fiber.

ohh... there's a guy who's selling a hood locally.. i'll make sure to take a good look at it.

yup carbon fiber dosent dent...... just like fiberglass, it cracks/breaks.

maybe he chipped it somehow. Either way C/F is hard to do cosmetic repairs on it because of the weave pattern and colors.

And just in case it has to be said again - C/F doesn't dent. EVER.

Ill take a closeup tomorrow, theres dents all over this thing. Thats what I get for $350.

I have two buddies that got into front end collision and both hoods were bent but didn't cracked or shatter. They were both from VIS. hmm............:dunno:
