A clean engine is a happy engine.

My engine got her first cleaning today. Nissan only charged $25, so I figured I should do it since it needed to be done. Of course, I got so happy about it that I had to take a picture. Wish I had before pictures.. haha.

Haha, you guys are newbs.. I used to work at a car lot. I could make an engine look like that with about 5 bucks. 10 bucks most. Advanced Auto Parts Engine Degreaser and some tire dressing. Then you just let it sit. Looks good though.

The car is only 10 yrs old.

I used to work at a car wash as well, and could have had the engine done for free. But ya know what?! I'm too lazy to do it myself. SPending money is fun.

That engine looks hot, Levi. I wish I had a nice motor like that under my hood.

nice! looks good, yea i used to work at a carwash and all we'd do for engine cleans is spray it down with velocity (degreaser) then cover up the dist. etc and hit it with a pressure washer and then coat it with armor all but def looks clean though and the dealer probly done a more safe job than what a local carwash would do.

I do the same, except instead of degreaser, I use Simple Green and a Scotch pad here and there. Makes your car look new under the hood. So does a bit of paint on the valve cover as well.
