Hood Hinge Problem

The hood on my 240 shuts offcenter with the driver's side of the hood raised slightly. I found the problem to be the base of the hinge on the driver's side is lifting up when the hood shuts. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to fix it?

try new hinges, they cant be that much from a junk yard....

It appears that the front of the hinge base is bolted down but the back is put on with some kind of adhesive. I guess mine finally just let go. Anyone know what you are supposed to use to put it back on?
