lambo doors

does anybody know how to make hinges for lambo doors? Cause i dont feel like spending 2 grand on a pair of hinges

ask a welding shop they should be able to tell u what needs to be done and how much it will run you

i think the lambo doors are more than just hinges man. theres a shock that pushes the door open and holds it up and its motorized i believe...I dont think it would be very fun to have lambo doors without something to hold them up.

i think lambo doors on a 240sx would be the dumbess thing ever!!! just my opinion though. they sell kits on ebay.

GOTDRIFT 03-14-2004 06:40 PM

I think they would look good - mostly because there is no frame on the door above the glass (s 14). With the windows down i think it would look great but ive never seen it done before so its hard to tell.

lambo doors on an s13 would look sweet.

yeah, also the latch is mounted differently because it is coming from the top not the side

Yea if you ever find out about the lambo door. Please let me know as well.. i think it would looks sweet. I believe it can be done without the frame around the window.

Suhster85 03-16-2004 04:58 AM

verticaldoors.com, they may think about prototyping a kit for u...they did it on my friends RSX

l2aine 03-20-2004 04:25 AM

maybe it's just me, but Lambo doors... don't they go straight up on a real Lamborghini? Not the "open door sideways a few inches, then push up" action?
