Originally posted by redpotatoes Good informations. This should be sticky. I actually have KYB GR2 with OEM springs. You mentionned: Eibach Sportline ... at minimum you can run with KYB GR-2's ... Eibach Prokit ... you must use aftermarket shocks like KYB AGX / Tokico Illumina / Koni Sports (Yellows) to use these correctly ... So Prokit would not be recommended with GR2 ? Just looking to have to best springs possible for my actual GR2. Thx IMO if you absolutely have to use Prokits with GR-2's, then it's possible but don't expect the GR-2's to last... the GR-2 was designed as an OEM upgrade - not a full blown performance upgrade. Most aftermarket springs don't go that much higher on spring rating compared to OEM so GR-2's can handle your typical S-Tech. To be honest, if you're looking for the best spring to match your GR-2, IMO you're basing your performance spring selection on a shock that wasn't really designed as a "performance part". |
Thx, since I only installed GR2 at the back for inspection when I brought the car in the country, it's possible that I change the suspension to the 4 wheels next spring. I will take note of this and I will put this on hold. Thx for the info's.
