Moon Roof

I didnt kno exactly where this should be so i decided to put it in style...

I got an 89 240sx FB and i got the moonroof on it. I was checking it out and i saw that it has two locks, one next to the windshield and one near the inside dome light. I unlocked both and i pushed up and i noticed that only the lock near the light should be there... Unless the whole glass comes off. so i started working with it and in a few min i got the whole glass out. Now my question is, wtf is the 2 little plastic holder thingy for on the outlining of where the glass lays? (does that make sense?) I tried putting the glass on it but then the glass with be at an odd angle. Someone who knows about this please help me out here. Thanx

take a picture of it... but I think you're talking about the small wind deflectors, as mentioned above

The guy before me siliconed the sun roof to prevent leaks, but i think he got it on where the sun roof and opening meet. so when i try to open mine i cant it's stuck. How can i open it without peeling paint and without it leaking?

^^ thats something easy to fix. Grab a blade and get to work. trim it little bit by little bit until you like how it is or it opens the way it should

You will have to find your way to the drains witch are located near the wheels. Hint: Open sunroof. Pour H20 in the water drains. Look under car an take note where the water comes out. Get to the drain and clean it out. Usually a lot of debris. Next post on the forum where it is cuz I'm too lazy to do mine. My car isn't leakin but I figured I'd do it b4 it does. When I tried it the H20 came out right behind the front wheels, under door hinges. Note that there are also rear drains too. Goodluck!!!!
