Looks soooo much better, If you car about your tires I would have an alignment done and fix the camber in the rear, (I am sure you have camber plates in the front) What size are you putting on the Front? 17X9? if so you will regret it even with a 215 on there your tire will rub all over the fender well, I am rubbing with a 17X8 (although I have a 245 on it but I would stick with a 17X8 in the front if it matters to you. ^ what are you talking about

My car is way lower and i ran 17x9.5 with a 225/40 in the front with NO rubbing issues.

Just because your in japan doesnt mean you know what is the best.

What ever dude I have no misconceptions that because I am in japan I know what I am talking about. I know what I am talking about because I have been doing this **** for the past 17 years, If youu get some stupid off set that make the car look retarded yeah you can slap it on there and make it work he will have to roll the lip on his fender. That is also with retarded camber as well I am sure.

Show me you 9.5 on the front so I can see what you car talking about instead of hit and run.

hit and run??? I dont follow.

Stupid offset??? Offset can help you get a wider track thus improving handling.

Sure some guys go crazy with like -20 on a 10j but hey thats there deal.

You like conservative. Thats cool. Not ever one in the world want's a 17x8 +30 with a 245.

Dont tell the guy if he likes his car he should use 9j in the front.

Lets see where do i have those pics? Hmmm...

I never told the guy what to like..... I will be honest I have know Idea what this guy knows or what he likes, but if he does not know what he is doing and buys a ""17x9 +17 gunmetal work emotion CR Kai on 245/40/17 Kumho MX"" And puts that on the front he is going to have some major rubbing and it will take major camber to attempt to fix it.

This is a 18X9.5 with a +15 off set but it took 40mm Over fenders and streching a 225 with 0 camber but it took overfenders to look right.

No need to fued over my Newbie car!.......

Okay, so I am running 245 all the way around yes...

I did the calculations and measurements.

With +17 offset, compared to the 205s that are on there now at +45, I get 8mm MORE clearance inside (there's plenty of clearance in there away from the coilover) and 48 mm MORE extension outside the tire....
This tire/wheel combo is slightly SMALLER in diameter (barely) than the setup on their now, so that isn't an issue, i won't rub on top.

The only place I foresee rubbing (maybe, depending on how slammed i decide to leave it is maybe if the outer top edge of the tire rubs the fender....we will have to see what happens.

P.S. - I am getting an alighment as soon as the new wheels go on in a few days....in the mean time I have only driven locally maybe like 20 or 30 miles at most.

It's funny watching everyone argue....some people say 17x9 +17 clear everything and then other people rub....I guess it justs depends on exactly the setup

LEVI: WHen you said you ran 17x9.5 with no rub, what offset were you speaking of?

I am not arguing at all I am just stating the facts with that combo you will more than likely rub on the fender with that +17 you will easily clear the shock and will have no problems on the inside well, but the fender will be a SMALL rub problem.
