My ride, 1996 KA24DET
Very nice car, I would like to have a KA24DET, if I had the money.
So what did you do to your engine to set it up for the turbo??
Also can you make a list of things you have done to your engine or things that you recommend I do to my KA24DE to have a nice powerful engine.

UnderAge- I would rather have a full T4 as well, I just stumbled upon this turbo used only 1 month from a friend at a good deal so I bought it.
GTspecR- It was a completely stock motor and it lasted for about a year and a half. It probably would have lasted alot longer if I would have left it alone. I installed an Apex Super AFC and had someone adjust it that obviously knew nothing because 30 minutes later I melted a piston. It ran lean and got to hot.
Why use a 300zxTT fuel pump and J-30 LSD?
300zx TwinTurbo has a high flowing fuel pump from factory and it bolts right into a 240sx. I only paid like $70 for it
Infiniti J-30's come with Limited Slip Differentials from the factory, therefore I knew I could get one from a junkyard relatively cheap, hell alot cheaper then a KAAZ. I paid $300 for it and it bolted right in. You are supposed to have to shorten the driveshaft 1" but I didn't and it works fine. I went to the track the week before I installed it and ran 14.2@98 the very next week with unbloted exhaust and the LSD I ran 13.4@103 with a 1.9 60' time. This was all before the rebuild.

300ZXTT fuel pump bolts right in does it? Hmmm... very interesting. How are they compared to a GT-R pump? I was planning on getting one of those, but if a 300ZXTT is just as good, I can save mucho dinero
Thats one hell of a ride you got there man! Just wondering how high where you (PSI) when you made that run of 14.2@98? My brother plans on get a turbo for his 93. Did you have any real problems with the car before the engine blew?
Thanks
Thanks
SilviaSpeed- the 300zxTT should be good enough for very high boost levels, I run 20psi no problem on it.
UnderAgeEnthusi- The GT-R pump was actually a little quieter than the 300zxTT and the car wasnt as rich with it so I put the 300zxTT one back in, they both bolt right in.
642642- I was running 10psi at the 14.2 run and also the 13.4 run, the only difference being that I removed my exhaust and installed a limited slip differential. No problems before the engine blew, ther only reason it blew was having an inexperienced tuner work on my car, adjusting the AFC wrong.

Personally I plan to use a straight T4 on my KA, 2.4 litres is easily enough to spool it up, hopefully I can squeeze out around 300hp...
