Yeah, definitely needs a roll. You might also want to consider a diamond-lock home depot lip. Looks like 50 times better than this one and costs like 15 bucks.

yeah when we put it on we were like damn that things to big and sooner or later were going to take off half or a quarter of it off

check out the diamond lock garden trim stuff.

i think it will look better because it has a bit more shape to it rather than just a flat piece of rubber.
