By the way, this is my car. . .

I was bored today and thought that I should get off my a$$ and change out my Plugs and Wires. Well, I bought the NGK High Performance wire set along with the NGK V-Power spark plugs. What I did first was I tried to clean the engine bay with that GUNK Engine Cleaner to get it as clean as I could. As you could, I didn’t do a very good job. Then I installed the new Plugs and Wires along with a new Cap and Rotor. I must say, the overall look and performance of the car is much better then it was before. See the pictures below for my adventure.

Then as I was finishing up with the Plugs and Wires install, the UPS man comes rolling by to drop off my new INJEN Intake that I bought from www.southwestautoworks.com. So I decided to install the intake at that time because I had all my tools out and because I knew I wasn’t going to do it later. I must say, the installation of this intake went smoothly with no problems at all. I give the overall sound, performance, and style of the Injen Intake a very high two thumbs up or shall I say a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend the Injen Intake to anybody who’s looking to improve the overall performance of their car. See pictures below. . . .

These are the pictures of my exhaust and muffler. The exhaust piping is a custom 2.5” pipe from the cat back to the muffler. The muffler is a BOMZ muffler which I bought off of eBay and it sounds really nice. I actually had the muffler put on about 2 weeks ago at a friends shop.

lookin hella nice, I know those ebay mufflers arnt as bad as everyone says huh? Long live ebay mufflers and crush bent cat back piping (untill I do a rb20det swap and buy a apexi gt spec 3.74" exhaust to go with it lol)

hey thanks guys! I'm still trying to decide on what to do about the suspension. Not sure of what product(s) I want to go with. A lot of people said to get some coilovers but I don't want to spend that much money. I do want my car to look good though. . . .oh well. . .
HotShot Headers
Ok, so I promised myself not to spend that much money on my ride. As you can see below, I now have the HotShot Headers installed along with my Injen Intake, and custom cat back exhaust.
Heres the story:
I installed the headers myself which was easy but what a b!tch to take out the old CAST IRON, HEAVY @ss, BOAT ANCHOR factory header system that was in there. Let me just say (and i'm sure those who have done this) that the factory header total with the down pipe and all that garbage must weigh at least a good 100 pounds as compared to the HotShot which is like 15 - 20 lbs. I had the hardest time taking a lot of the old stuff out because the nuts and bolts seemed like they were seized and couldn't come off. But with a little, well a lot of elbow grease, everything came out one way or another.
The only MAJOR problem that I had was the bolts that hang the cat converter busted off due to some harsh weather conditions prior to me owning the car. So I had to drill one of the bolts off and readjust the whole so that it'll fit a different size bolts.
The overall performance of the car seems 10 times better now! I really like the setup I have except that I know there is an exhaust leak at the cat. I think I need to put in another exhaust gasket to fill that little crack between the header connection and the cat. Other than that, I'm very happy! I can now cruise at 70 mph in 3rd gear at 4400 rpms or just shift to 4th and cruise it at 2800 or so rpms. Man, this car really moves.
