still skinny as hell for a 9inch rim

im running 17x8.5 with 235/40 front and 17x9.5 with 275/35 rear

edit front is a little stretched

 

thats becuase you drive like a batt out of hell get it hahaha

well once i boost the KA or drop a 350 small block in the car ill go with a more meatier tire..plus like i said these are what came on the wheels lol

+1, i am rockin 225's on my 17x7 wheels, and have considered moving up to 245's.

hey anyone know what is the biggest size tire you can "comfortablely" fit in the stock wells (so in stock fenders and quater panels)? i have seen up to 245's, anyone seen 255's?

 

I wouldn't go any bigger than 225 on a 7" wide rim. You'd want a wider rim for better sidewall control.
