This is for a 91-94 240sx...Well...what do you think? Please add a comment as to why you chose either option. Thanks

That is utterly Jedi-like! They are so bright! They look like little light sabers. Don't make your decisions off of what other people think! It is your car, do what you want. I dont like the red on the speedometer, but other than that I think it is fine.

thats pretty sweet. I think it'd burn holes through my face though, so I am scared. its so bright.

but its cool, I had thought of doing something of the like. but with different colors. more of light to dark blue with red needles. and way way dimmer. lol.

I dont' think it is gauges, I think it is like 9 LEDs that they send that actually cost a whopping 5 bucks retail.

You can take "over head" colored lights they fit right into the stock OEM spedo light sockets, at Pep Boys, Auto Zone, yadayada, Me and my friend did it to his speedo as a "I wonder project"........
It isn't as bright as those LEDS, but the dimness makes it looks like HELLS Kitchen comes out of the speedo with the dim dark RED.... Needls and numbers look dim red, and the redline now looks ultra red.
I'll post pics when my boy gets his 1991 300z out of the shop, should be this SATURDAY...
I'll post pics on how we did it also, don't know why though it is super easy...........

It's not just the bulbs behind the gauges, part of it is the needles too? I think?...maybe not?

ok what it is...( i know this because i had that same kit shown above) ok they take 2-3 leds depending on what needle it is. 3 for large needle and 2 for smaller needle. ok so 2-3 LED's per needle. they take the LEDs and glue them to a small circle of vinyl(car strype) and run the smallest wire i have ever seen in my life to each LED. there is a dimmer switch so you can make them as bright as you want. they dont look good unless you scrape all the orange paint off the back of your needle. the kit is a huge pain to install because you have to take each gauge face off and set this little sticky cirlce on to each one. you also have to take off each needle from the gauge and if you dont line them up roght or make the correct marks on the gauge before you take them off your gauges are then not correct. also, you ahve a great possibility of breaking your speedometer cause its all wound up inside the gauge.

i got some 4 LED bulb replacements from Stewart Warner Guage company. they just replace the i94 or 194 bulbs in your cluster and they are bright as hell. i forgot to take my camera home with me last night otherwise i would post a pic of what it looks like.

but trust me. the kit above is not worth it and its a huge pain to install!
