painting ma car

HEY i just got into an accident with my car.the damage was to the front end up to the fenders that was damaged. I just got the parts all the front end for 200. now my car is gold color and the pieces i got are black. My cash is limited so im gonna repaint it to the same color gold the black pieces. However i was thinking i wanted something different so wat could i do tro make it look dif, should i leave the hood black?? btw i got mags on my car black ones the pic is old give me sggestions plz

no... ricers have black hoods, well, if you worked it into the paint scheme maybe. i say a solid color, or red w/ black top half. look around though

dude if you really want different repaint it the same color and take off the pinstripe.

Two tone it. Top half vs. Bottom Half.

Champagne on top..and a darker shade on the bottom, right after the stripe.

so im guessing no black hood? the only thing i can afford now is taking off the pin stip lol any other idea boys?

do whatever you want man...... its YOUR car. i know carbon fiber hoods are a totally different topic, but if you want to leave the hood black go for it. some people like it, others call it "rice" because its not carbon fiber or functional. either way i think it'll give it a nice look to it.

ohh i dont care rice or not i jsut want a dif look to it and carbon fiber is out of my money i jsut got into an accident wat i started or intended this thread to do is would it look nice or shiit if the hood was black ?? i dunt want my car to look like itjust got in a car accident either :P

like a beigeish and champagne two tone...and i have black hood...i think black hoods look good...maybe cuz i just got used to it

its an s13, just get some duplicolor spray paint and paint away. imo just match the front to the rest of the car

i kno i just wanted to make the car look a bity dif since im paying 2000$ just for the repair.. lol so i thought of leavin the hood black can i get a pic of howd it look like ayuaddict

two tone looks badass on coupes. I haven't seen it on a fastbacks.....I wonder how it would look.

Paint the new pieces the same color as your car. Champagne all around. If you want to be different, then paint the lower half (from the black stripes down) charcoal gray or flat black.


I have a black hood.....but that's how it came when I bought the slivia front conversion and I haven't had time to color match my car. Gonna try to find a krylon or duplicolor to match it.
