plastic glue/adhesive?

Hello fellow 240 drivers, while swapping out my sun baked headlight assemblies for brand new ones the d$@% corner driving/position lamp assembly on my S14 popped in a violent manner smashing the toungue with the screw that holds it secured to the headlight.

fortunately I got the piece and it snapped fairly evenly giving me hope that I might be able to glue it back on providing I have the right kind of stuff for it. . so i'm asking anyone here who's got some experience in glueing plastic together so that a good strong bond is formed and that I can again secure it with the screw.

I've been reading on the JB Weld adhesive and it seems to be a really good compound but I leave it open to you for suggestions on what might best stand the test of time and the S14's ride.

Thanks for the help and knowledge

I don't think it matters because if I understand correctly, he broke the mounting tab, not any part of the lense.

Bingo the lenses are fine it's just the fastening tab (mit screw) that snapped off anyways I got today at wallyworld a compound called plastic welder which is rated to 3500+ pounds I'll let you know how it worked.
