AUTOBODY AND COLLISION!

I bet a s14 front end can be had for WAY cheaper that a s15 conversion, guestamation is around $250 for the front end.
yes, $250 for the part, and if you're paying for labor it'll be hundreds and hundreds, if you're doing it yoruself and know how, then pratically nothing more other than a paint job.

I say go for it! It might be a bit tricky but I'm sure it's possible.

I'm personally looking at putting a Gen 2 S14 front end (off a 1997 240 parts car my buddy is trying to get for me) on a '91 S13. I think my biggest problem's not going to be the fenders but the hood as it's wider than the S13 hood and a very different shape.

I think I might go for the gen 2 s14's, there a better "fit" than the gen 1's, they look REAL nice as well!

Isn't the s14 just about the same width of the s13? I know the s14 is slightly longer, but being off the same chassis you'll think the width will add up close to even.

actually the S14 is 2 inches wider and is actually just as long. The wheelbase is longer though.

the 2nd gen s14 looks much better on the 180sx in my opinion, although ive never seen the first gen s14 on the 180. I just think the 2nd gen lights r much sleeker.

Do you know if the S13 and S14 Kouki hoods are the same width? I mean, I don't mind if the S14 bumper is wider, it's easy to take 2" out of a bumper, especially if it's fiberglass, but hoods are a bit trickier.

Ok well let's find out. You have a Kouki S14 right? Could you measure the hood? I can measure mine (S13) and then we've got our answer.

NO.

Well...it could be done BUT the leading edge of the doors doesn't match up with the trailing edge of the fenders. The door fronts have a different angle.

If a R32 and RPS13 can be turned into pick-ups, nothing's impossible in your S13/14 hybrid projects here.

Keep on the great work guys, I can't wait to see the pix.
