I am doing the same thing. Its about $80 a rim.

Once you don't spray paint them I don't feel its ricey at all. I will powder coating my SE rims in gun metal also, so if it is ricey, they we'll be rice brothers.

Hey Pass the Rice over Here

Save your cash and buy some rims, dont wast 80 x 4 which is $320 bucks to have some STOCK rims coated, I think its a waste, spend it on something else..

Agressive spray painted his rims flat black. They give you an idea of what they look painted. I think they are ok. I would go with powerdercoating if the finish was glossy.

When you powdercoat them man, you can get them looking like armor all is on them all the time man. THey look HOTTT. THe factory SE rims are off the hook for a factory rim and go with the car.

Also, I think flat black doesn't float the boat IMHO. If you want them black/gunmetal then powdercoat those bad boys.

you car would look nice with some gun metal wheels man. I think gunmetal looks hot on most cars/colors. they are exceptions.

Powder coating sounds like a good idea fellas. I'm at an impass though, for those who know me and my car, what would you guys suggest? Do you think black or gun metal? If I get it done I'd like to leave the lip the stock alloy color, to give it that deep dish look.
