I know this is way off subject I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about primer. I am in the mist of sanding down my car and primering it. Someone told me that primer wasent waterproof, that I should get it painted asap. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true and if so what would be the longest you would recommend leaving a car primered?

primer isnt water proof.. you'll absorb stuff like a *****.. you should primer the day you get it painted.. WATCH OUT FOR BUGS!! and bird poo

or if you like that primered look.. you could always get a 'flat' colored paint

 

^ yes exactly DO NOT drive your car at all with primer unless you want your paint to flake off.
