yo wassup guys, im new here and i own a '90 240sx fastback




yea... uhm my friend sold his 240. and gave me some freebies... like nismo sticker, shop manual. and a silvia "rear-label", says on the box it came in.... and im wondering... on tha rear center garnish.... does the letters "240SX" come off? because this silvia label would look sweet in place then that 240SX.. i dunno....

If your talking about on the center tail light piece than no, you can only take off the whole center piece not just 240sx. The silvia label is for the coupe not the fastback

 

However, you can find online (Ebay) the rear center section that has 180sx marker on it. Of course you could always also take the cheap way out- spray paint over your rear $3.95, buy a Silvia badge $10.00, and stick it on in 10min.

yeah don't put silvia on a hatchback. its bad enough people put them on s13 coupes that are missing the silvia lights and engine.

I think nosho thinks that the fastback and hatchback are two different cars. And why on earth would you put a sticker on your dashboard that doesn't even match your car. Thats like the geo metro GTR 34 i saw last saturday...terrible

 

Silvia emblems don't belong on the 240SX. If anything, the only JDM signia that vbelongs on it are the 180SX rear center panel, the RPS13 reat center panel cover, and/or the 180SX rear quarter panel windows. The Fastback/Hatchback is not a Silvia. Never was, never will, lol. BTW, the JDM 180SX insignia doesn't belong on the 240Sx unless you have either the CA or SR to back it up.

 

my bad from earlier I didn't meant to be taken seriously. Personally I want to remove all badges from my car. ALL. I need to find a way to get rid of the emblems in the quarter glass. Like if you can't tell what my car is, then good you don't deserve to.

that's nothing, ive seen a "ford civic nissan lexus m3 gs400 integra type-r" before. but then again he just had the emblems lined up across his trunk so he probly alrdy knew how dumb he looked.

 

The sad thing is this guy thinks that he is fast and cool... it's so embarassing for me just to see the car, i could never drive it. So it all comes back to not mislabeling you car, how would you feel if some one called you a different name because they thought yours wans't cool.
