s13 rear fenders

where can i find a set of rear r32gtr fenders? ive been lookin all day and havent found anything

Are you looking for rear R32 GTR style overfenders for a 240, or are you looking for stock R32 GTR rear fenders?

jturbo06 03-29-2007 12:25 PM

either will probaly work. i'd prefer stock ones but i just want to make my coupe look like a gtr

RuizXIII 03-29-2007 12:30 PM

I dont think it would be that easy to find a set or rear R32 fenders, you can try ebay and see if they have anything. You might also want to check JDM used parts specialists.

I think you would be better off just getting S13 Rear Overfenders if anything. Im guessing you will be doing the tailight conversion as well?

Ayuaddict 03-29-2007 12:33 PM

just get fiberglass R32 overfenders and mold them onto your coupe.

i personally think it will look like shiet. but hey, if you like it, thats cool.

I believe the best route to go would find a shop that can custom make you something with sheet metal. If I recall correctly, there aren't any R32 GTR style fenders for the s13. Getting actual R32 fenders would probably prove to be difficult like RuizXIII said, you would probably need to get pretty much a whole rear cut.

RuizXIII 03-29-2007 12:39 PM

a whole rear clip (which cost a pretty penny) & cut out the rear fenders which would be a pretty time consuming task on its own. Personally I dont see much of a point to this.

silviaks2nr 03-29-2007 12:42 PM

i dont blame you for wanting to do the conversion. it looks so nice.

your best bet is to probably just get a front and rear clip and do a cut, weld, and fill job.

:werd:
indeed they do........ man i cant wait

Ayuaddict 03-29-2007 12:46 PM

i think that car may have cost as much as a real R32 from the amount of work and materials.

RuizXIII 03-29-2007 12:47 PM

I do agree, i think it looks really great of course. Just the sourcing of a good in-shape clip with body panels in-tact will be a little hard. And of course then taking the time to remove the specified peices would be a daunting task.Bryan had a pretty good idea with sourcing a local shop who would be able to recreate the look with sheetmetal pieces. either way this is a pretty costly modification.

jturbo06 03-29-2007 12:59 PM

thanks guys. i'll let you know how it goes

RuizXIII 03-29-2007 01:43 PM

Hey man G/L with everything. I hope all goes well!

silviaks2nr 03-29-2007 01:59 PM

you could actually build a mesh frame over the stock fenders and mock up your own out of metal/fiberglass. there was a good example of a road racing s12 in the netherlands on which they used that method. I'll try and find it for you

Biggamehit 03-29-2007 02:40 PM

wow i just did an double take and also read some... thats an conversion.... thats nice as hell man
