where do i get the s15 conversion kit?

Go to google.com, search for S15 front conversion. U will find many sites. Its pretty expensive. You can also do that for the S15 front clip...expensive as well

S15 front clip:
engine/tranny (drivetrain) parts and other under-the-hood goodies... fat chance on body panels, lights, etc

S15 conversion:
just body parts/exterior stuff (eg., lights, brackets, fenders, hood, bumper, etc)

they're practically polar opposites...

 

I don't even think they made auto spec-r silvias... and even if they did good luck on getting one.

nope, the 240 only offers two transmissions: 5 speed manual and 4 speed automatic. there has never been a factory-produced 240 with a manu-matic tranny, though i think it would be kinda neat (read: different) to see a conversion...

by the way, there are manual 240's out there. u just gotta look (hard) to find them. which kind were you looking for?

S13 '89-93 (hatchbacks/fastbacks and coupes, quite abundant)
S13 '94 (all convertibles, automatics only; harder to find everyday)
S14 '95-96 (mostly automatics, manuals harder to find for this generation)
S14a/S14.5 '97-98 (limited numbers made, kinda rare nowadays; to find one of these and in a manual is nearly mythical )
all S14's are 2 door coupes (no hatchbacks/fastbacks, no convertibles)

good luck on ur search. like i said, they ARE out there. u might have to search further from where u live (like me )...

oooooookay, and that proves... what? i dunno about anyone else, but what i saw as an S13 redtop engine and tranny set. ok, IWS said that
ok when has anyone here heard of an S13 "Silvia Spec R"? anyone? just like i thought. that's because Silvias didn't use that designation until the S15. however, after doing some browsing, i was able to find this brochure for a new zealand S15 200SX (Silvia) Spec R. looks like they did make 'em in auto...

EDIT: also the 'SR20SET' is a typo... the motor is an SR20DET...

 

I got my s15 kit from extreme dimensions. About the only genuine S15 piece in the kit are the headlights. S15 body panels and hood won't fit.

I'm pretty sure he means that you have to buy a conversion kit, you cant just use real stock S15 body panels. The front end conversions are specially made to fit your year of car, while the JDM S15 body parts will only fit that chasis.
