Smoked Headlights

How do i smoke my own headlights/taillights, im buying all black rims to have my car as black as i can get it, but right now the lights stick out too much.


if anyone can help me with some information, it would be great

theres this stuff called nightshades, using an SOS pad lightly scuffing your lense and then spraying the stuff over it would probably do the trick, try searching google for the stuff..

dont smoke the lenses, smoke the housings i did it, for the smaller lights boil in water and pull the lense and for the larger ones bake in over shortly so they dont melt i did my corners and am going to do the headlamp bezels

well i would just hoby paint color window tint and and sand b4 and after and clear coat... i would just do the back and black house the front.... becuz po po dont like black head lites or sumthin... tails cant be too dark....

so black house and eye brows iono haha

i sprayed the silver part black not the clear part. the lenses is still clear the housing just doesnt reflect the light worth ****. boil the lights in water and carefully pull the lense off

That looks nice. Some of my friends use this film for their taillights to make them all red, i wonder if they have it in black or smoke. i'll try to find out for you...

yea i used the red vinyl on my tails to get rid of the orange. try laminx.com for black and clear and blue and yellow

yea i painted the headlights on my veedub. came out nice i think. this was taken awhile ago.

I did mine tearing it all apart then painting them just the housing did not do the sides though. Remember to take your time and do all the prep work and take your time and go slow with the project. If you **** this up you'll end up paying some cash for new ones.

Is there like a reflective black paint so when you paint the housing black is reflects alittle?
