Stuck with seat belts

Hey guys, i did a search for removing the driver and passenger seat belts on a s13, but i didn't find any information that was helpful. I need help to remove the automatic clicker that moves up and down. I removed all my stock seat belts for a sparco 4 pt harness. I removed the seat belt ecu so that it doesn't activate everytime i open the door. And the seat belt light doesn't go off anymore. Help would be highly appreciated! :D

I'll check my book later and see if it says anything

Okay, thanks. I should invest in one of those books, but i can never seem to find them at auto parts store.

What information are you trying to find out?

I removed my seatbelts in favor of a 5 point harness to go along with my rollcage.

You remove the ecu and the motors next to it on either side of the rear footwells. 14mm bolts hold these in.

There are tracks leading from the A pillars back that have to be removed. These tracks are what your clicker rides on. Remove the plastic trim first. Just tug at it. Then there are 12mm and 10mm bolts holding the track in. Take them out and plug the trim back on.

It should take you 30mins.

You can still run OEM seatbelts which would be my suggestion unless you have a rollbar or cage in that car.

Running a 4 point harness without roll protection is worse than running stock in a roll over.

The 4 point harness will not allow submersion unlike your stock belts.

Look into a set of S14 seatbelts or Canadian S13 seatbelts.

They are manual and work with you female connector on your seat.

It is child's play. You can do it. My cousin did mine and he is 14.

S14 belts are around here and there. They are bolt on and work great.

I had a pair of black ones but I picked up another 240 and they will be going in there.
