Valve Cover
 

Hey guys i just got my head shaved and i told the guy to throw my valve cover into the beadblaster if he could and he said sure. Im thankfull he did it for free but the job was kinda crappy so i decided to sand and polish it myself. Its close to chrome now!! i polished it 2 a nice shine and now i want to paint it but not just any color. Im looking to paint it black with silver or white flakes but i cant find it anywhere and i dont wanna take it to a shop to get it painted. I saw some JDM S13's, S14's and S15's with shimmering valve covers and i wasnt sure where to get that at. Im aware that it needs to be high heat so i cant just use any paint. Does anyone know where i can get this paint at? Something in a can already will be excellent Thanx

get it powder coated, dont know if they can put the glittery stuff in it though

powder coat is cool but i want it to stand out thanx tho

Im trying to find something in a can form thats already mixed but if anything i can mix it myself. If i cant find something good im just gonna get the Dupli-Color metalcast or high heat gloss black :(

that looks good why dont you keep it like that? what did you use to sand it? because that looks damn sexy and about the paint.. ya i dont know.. ill keep my eye out for you tho

Thanx i used a couple diff grits of sand paper and juss worked my way down. I need clean it up its still dirty from the sanding. ill post better pics wen i clean it good. I was thinking about leaving it like that but theres a couple deep scratches (that can be seen if i just clear coat it) so i wanna cover them up. Thanx for the comment and for looking out ill keep you guys posted on wat i do

this has nothing to do with paint, but it is related to your valve cover. Is there a bolt pattern I need to follow in taking it off or putting it back in? Oil is leaking from it and I need to replace the gasket. Could you draw out the pattern? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

i believe heavythrottle has a the bolt pattern for the VC under their SR faq's page.
