iam probaly going to get a 240sx in maybe late spring 2004 for my 1st car. i want to make it fast. i know it has around 160 hp or something like that. should i swap the engine to a SR20DET? or turbo charge the stock engine. also coilerovers? (tien).. also the jdm s14 conversion? and nice rims dont know wat kind yet. i want to keep it "Clean". leave suggestions wat would look good plz.

well my parents would pay for the car..so i would have a job by then and i should be making some good money. enough to pay for wat i want for the car. i will do watever it takes.

 

For rims look into Volk/Rays engin. Very good selection but VERY pricey. Have ya looked into other engine swaps? On coilovers..Teins are always get..The HA and HE are a good start. There JIC..Apex'I..many more. And..there isnt a S14 JDM conversion...unless ur talking about the more aggressive headlights..thats just a kouki conversion.

 

Do not get a SR swap because you would die and I would not like that. Nor would your parents.

Get the car fixed.

You didn't put where you are from but after it is back to stock level get yourself to a Evolution school, some autoX and a legal drift event.

Get yourself some seat time.

Listen to the other drivers.

Find a local 240 crew where you can see, feel and test the parts before someone from a website tells you they are the "cool **** yo!".

There are some crews out there that run "big brother" type programs and will help you out.

If you are in the NE or tri-state area you can come hang out with my crew.

i'm not one to be a bandwagon jumper, but i have to agree w/what Stan put out. damn near everything i wanted to say (Stan's psychic and he stole my post ). seriously, if u plan on making ur car faster, learn more about driving/controlling it at stock level.

hmm.. if you want a clean look.. 95~! woo-hoo!! LoLz cuz i gots one!! hmm.. something like 18" bronze or gun metal w/silver lip.. front lip.. side skirts.. JDM style exhaust.. lowering springs/coil overs.. and if you do get a 95.. make sure you get the JDM fog lights too.. looks hella sikk and thats about it for looks.. oh! and maybe even a 'drift' type wing.. maybe.. this'll look clean..

 

Or get an ugly car that leaks and doesn't always work and be down with the S13 boyz!
