im w/ lionel on this, BUT if u can get the parts cheapely and do all the labor urself and do it right then id go for it.

Sil40_Mayhem Oct 24, 2003 05:52 AM

my thoughts (for what they're worth):

on one hand, i ithink that it would be kinda pointless and an unecessary expense. there would need to be an adjustment period involved. and people who didn't know what the hell a "jdm" was would think u were delivering mail w/that vehicle. it would have no practical value aside from car shows or having the thing shipped to an rhd country...

on the other hand, it's different. sometimes, different is cool. it would make it easier for u to hit on female drivers.:p u wouldn't have to worry about rerouting lines for a motor swap. it would score pretty good w/car show judges. it would bring ur car closer to it's Japanese roots. and finally, u can drop off mail in a mailbox w/o getting outta the car.:p

:bigok: THE RHD CONVERSION IS TOTALLY PIMP AND WHEN YOU PULL UP AT A RED LIGHT OR A CAR SHOW OR WHERE EVER YOU GO, YOU CAN AMAISE PEOPLE WHEN YOU GET OUT OF YOUR CAR.

I give you :bigok: all the way on the RHD. I'm doing mine as well. For parts and labor together of only 1500$ which is not bad at all. If you want your car to be the real JDM deal go for it...:thumb:

Ok, on one hand it's kinda cool because it's giving a nod to our Japanese friends (damn them and their stock SR's). However, it's highly impractical for North America. Beyond the fact that it's difficult to do, expensive (even if you have the parts), and pointless, say goodbye to ever passing a car again. Just try looking around the left side of a car you want to pass from the right side of your car. It also makes left hand turns through an intersection permanently awkward. :nono:
