anyone wanna school me on the terms used in this tread.........=(.... Im not too sure what a zenki lip is or where it comes on or what a chuki bumper is =) thnx in advance........

zenki is like old style, chuki is in the middle, and kouki is new, can be used to describe a car, or just parts from it...

for example, s13 front bumpers... zenki is the pignose, sohc front bumper; chuki is the dohc bumper, kouki is wut i think most ppl call the type-x bumper.

so the zenki lip was the lip that was made for the zenki 180sx, it turns out itll fit on the chuki bumper as well as the silvia bumper

Kouki 95-98

i think...so basically its just used to describe "updates" on the same car.

the same terms are used for the S14

not sure yet im in the process of moving so ive been real busy. just been sanding every other week whenever i can haha.

Where can i get those lights!! I hate the ugly stock ones, i want clear housings lol

also do you think it it possible to modify the stock lights. drill out a hole, make it so you can put in a xenon light in and just use it as a "plug in" instead of changing the whole housing and everything. I think it's possibly but i dont know................:confused:

no, u can not stick xenon d2s bulbs in there even if they are rebased. the only way you could pull that off is with the hella h4 housings and an h4 casper shield to block the light for a oem like beam pattern. look on hidplanet.com for more info. the clear lense lights suck output and beam pattern wise

I feel like im new to this country lol. (inside joke) but im confused.

How did you guys mount your zenki lips to the chuki bumpers? I tried using zip ties through existing holes in the lip and the bumper, and the side of the lip hangs away from the bumper...i'd like to get mine to sit flush as it does on your cars.
