South Carolina

Where is everyone located? Anyone talking about a meet yet? I've seen some nice 240's cruising around in the Myrtle Beach area? Anyone know of any good shops that do reputable motor work on KA's?
Hit me up.
Jon

in SC but in Spartanburg about 3.5 hours away. I'm down in Myrtle Beach from time to time but I usually take my Honda. Don'tknow of anyone who works on KAs, but I know Epik does work on 240s w/ SRs. Not sure how good their work is, but the owner is pretty cool. http://www.epikmotorsports.com/

SUP?

Yeah, i know Jeff. He's been keeping busy fixing up Honda's. Too busy to fix real cars. He's got like a 2 month waiting list for work.
Anyone in your area with a hooked up 240?

I've got 5 buddies w/ 240s. and there are a couple others around. Out of me and my friends, we have 2 S13 fastback SR20s, an S13 coupe w/ JDM front, an S14 w/ S15 SR and an S14 w/ KA-T. There's also another SR powered S14 from Gaffney and one from Gville.

SWEET

So, with all these turbo powered cars? Where does everyone in that area get the work done, your garages, or a reputable mechanic? I am thinking about doing the KA-T. What your opinion on that being that you've seen both in action?
Any pics of these cars? with engine mods?
J.

Well most of us do our work ourselves. THe guy w/ the KA-T bought an SR manifold and modified it to fit the KA. That way he could use all SR Piping and turbo and stuff. My SR was done by my friends w/ the other two SRs and they did their own. The only thing we didn't do was the wiring. And I think the did in Gaffney got his done by JGY and the guy in Gville bought his swapped.

Overall though, my friends here in Spartanburg can do almost anything to a 240. It's helpfull cause i don't have to rely on a shop.

I am from NC and was just wondering if there is a small road course in SC. I have heard romurs about it and thought you guys might know. If there is mabye we could get together and try to have some type of event. Everyone you know and my friends. I know some 240 guys and some other people that might be interested. I am almost done with my RB swap and wanted to see how it handles without getting arrested. Thanks, sorry but I can't help you on your myrtle problem I only know of shops in the Charlotte area. But if you want to come all the way up here I know of some that would work on your car.

I think your talking about Carolina Motorsports Park in Kersaw(sp) if your interested in road racing and autocrosses, check out, www.hightach.com. They are all about road racing and such and they are based in SC/NC.
