any help

i have some money saved up for a motorswap and i like the blacktop s15 and i have a 97 240sx i heard from some people that for the swap i would need a rearend and some black digital box for the odometer... i also read that its alot better to jus get the front clip insted of the motor with tranny alone cuz they can be damaged easyer or somthing. it would be nice if u guys could fill me in

If you want the s15 SR20, like you said, you will need the rear end as well as everything else due to the speed sensor being located there. Why not just go for the s14 SR20, it will save you some cash, and you can use the saved money to throw some mods on it....

Front clips are usually better to get due to you almost being guaranteed to get everything needed for the swap. You can get away with just getting motor sets though if you get it from a good importer.

what is the difference between the 2 motors other than management tuning, i know that they both have BB turbos but the s15 puts out more power but im not sure on how much is the difference..... since u said that the s14 motor is cheaper and i could used the extra money to mod..... the only thing is i jus came from a 12 sec honda and im not sure on what to do to these motors to make them still dailydrivers and make good power without hurting anything. so if u could jus lay down some easy mods that i can do to it and ill look them up
