Help!!
 

My car wont start and heres what happened;
I believe a might have put the jumper cables on backwards and when i did i heard a weird noise from near the fuse panel near the clutch pedal, also my driver side door was clicking non stop until i disconnected the battery. i put a new battery in to be sure but thats not it. it turns over like its about to start but nothing more. im thinking something to do with fuel delivery but have no idea how to pinpoint this problem, so maybe someone can help please.

you probably let the magic smoke out of everything.

1)check all fuses
2)check all relays
3)sniff your ecu for smoke smell
4) use search to see how many other people seem to do this on this forum.

is it really that hard to tell between red and black?

If your colourblind maybe?

Red is positive (+) Black Negative/Ground(-) like that kids
