Megan Exhaust

I didnt know where else to put this thread.

Anyway, i recently did an sr swap on my 92 240.
as you might guess, almost every bolt all along my exhaust was rusted right to the parts. so basically my exhaust ends before my cat :wink_old:

anyway, im in the market for some exhaust parts from the cat back. i figured since my o2 elbow and downpipe are both megan racing 3'', i might as well see about getting the cat-back megan as well. (was thinking their drift spec 3")

issue is, ive seen some slander around the internet about megan stuff. and obviously you get what you pay for right? so im wondering if any of you have had any good or bad experience with this stuff. is it garbage? is the workmanship ok? is it TOO loud? (not that i care too much about how loud it is)

ive heard some of them on youtube and they sounded ok to me from there.

anyway, since this question is always asked, purpose of the car is just a daily driver, no track time, and im not looking for big power gains right now or anything.

any help would be good. thanks

What is the purpose of the car? Megan is an "ok" brand, if its a DD or drift car ya Megan is fine, if you are looking into autox or track you may want something a little lighter and better like Apexi or JIC

megan is fine if your going nuts over weight titanium is the way to go . pipe is pipe ,you cant change that .im going to go custom mandrel next year cause i refuse to have a fart can (which i have right now until i get my dual tip :( ) I mean really is the Steele apexi has so much better than the Steele Megan is buying .
